My Hometown

A small industrial town, people leaves cause jobs are at other places.
Left is old people and the small escader who is needed for the communityservices
Some farms surround the city, and some tourism and the factories engage people here.
It´s about 13 000 inhabitants here.
It´s a safe place to live in and some of those who left some years ago, returns now when it´s time to rise their kids.
It´s one cinema, two pubs, four restaurants and a place to dance at - once a month.
What people do to amuse themeself? I don´t know. They are probably watching TV!

A typical barn.

At the outer parts of the city
Houses looking the same, side by side
surrounded by a small garden.

This is the common summercafe.
You buy your coffee or icecream in the little wooden house and goes down the stairs and takes a seat on the little platform just above the water at the left.
Now they have stored the tables for the season.

The brickhouse is a Artgallery in summers.

From the opposit shore.

The Artgalley
It once was a house with an turbin-for waterpower.
It supported most of the industries once, and our town was a rather famous and pretty rich town.
Time changes things!
Nowdays we earn our money on tourists and.. allright..some small industries!

The marketplace.
On wednesdays there are several stalls, but today it´s saturday- only a few merchants at the townsquare.

A very calm streey, leads to the marketplace

The school
It´s an old factory, refreshed and resturated, that has become a beautiful gymnasia. The white building is for the "artclasses"
